Delete Your Account
In the app
- Open Payday
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings
- Scroll to Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Type DELETE to confirm
What gets deleted
Everything, on both sides, straight away:
- Your account itself
- Every shift, tip, tip-out, hour, sale, and note stored on Payday’s servers
- Your pay schedule, hourly wage, and name
- Any API keys you created, and their request logs
- The copy of all of it on your phone
Deletion happens immediately, not on a retention schedule. It cannot be undone, and Payday keeps no backup to restore from.
Export first if you want to keep your records
For a lot of people Payday holds the only complete record of what they earned. The delete screen offers a CSV export before you confirm, and you can also export any time from the History tab using the share button. The CSV opens in Numbers, Excel, or Google Sheets.
If you already deleted the app
Removing the app from your phone deletes the local copy but leaves your account and the server copy in place. Reinstall Payday, sign in with the same Apple ID, and follow the steps above — or email tyler@szakacsmedia.com from the address tied to your account and it will be deleted for you.
Signing out instead
If you only want off this device, use Sign Out in Settings instead. That leaves your account and your shifts intact and syncs them back when you sign in again.
